Soluble in water (12G/100ML water at 25 ℃ and 24.1G/100ML water at 100 ℃), insoluble in alcohol, acetone and carbon disulfide. It has a bitter and salty taste.
Purpose:military industry. Used as chemical fertilizer in agriculture. It is the raw material for making potassium salt. The dye industry is used as an intermediate. The glass industry is used as a clearing agent. Used medically as a laxative. Used as an auxiliary agent in the spice industry. The food industry is used as a general-purpose additive. It is also used for serum protein biochemical testing.
